This is a digital commission featuring characters from some TV show. Or movie. I forget. Was it a comic book? It wasn't around long, that's all I remember. (UPDATE: That was a joke folks. Of course I know what "Firefly" is. You don't draw a commission for one of the longest running and highest rated animated shows on the Disney Channel without knowing what it is.)

This piece was drawn and colored in Photoshop CS4 using a Wacom Cintiq 21UX.

I used to watch this cartoon all the time, I can't believe no one remembers it being on Disney! I mean come on, that song Wayne Brady wrote for the theme was great!

Firefly only lasted one season, Fox-TV bought it but couldn't figure out what to do with it. after it was canceled, had a run on SciFi bringing in new fans (how I learned of it). Fans clamored for and got a feature film to bring the story to a close, and deal with several loose ends to the story. It was a really cool show, but just a little off kilter.

I do like your pic. Had it as wallpaper for a few days. My WP constantly changes, as I keep finding cool new pics. Very seldom do I keep 'em around for very long, however. Guess I'd be a poor curator.
