This is a digital commission featuring a gunslinger who never gets outgunned. Ever. Excpt every few years when a new home video version is released and his markmanship gets a little more bizarre. Whatever.

Drawn and colored in Photoshop CS4 using a Wacom Cintiq 21UX.

You can watch a recording of me coloring this piece on my Ustream channel here: [link]

Hey Otis! your art is amazing! I've been learning how to "Digitally Paint" over the last couple years, I'm going to be getting into a more comic like feel. Can I ask if you could give me some tips or pointers to give it that more professional feel? I know I need to practice and do more figure drawings to help me feel more comfortable with body language and posture. One more question if you don't mind. Where did you get your library of textures? I watch your Ustream video of Han and Greedo and saw all of the textures! I've never really used them but I can see what it can do to a piece of art. Great work! Thanks for sharing your art and Ustream vids!

No idea how to gives things a more professional look. I guess the boring answer is "practice". Sorry.

I got most of my textures at Bittbox.com and MediaMilitia.com.

Thanks anyways and Thanks for responding so quickly! Yea, I'm learning simplicity, playing off color and how lights and darks contribute to the piece... I wish there was an easier answer than practice.. lol

Thanks for displaying your work on deviant and ustream!

Oh and Escape From Planet Nowhere is great!!
