Looks to me like a parody of how RPG characters collect potions, weapons, and other paraphernalia and seem to tuck them away into another dimension.

It's not so much a parody as it is taking a video game trope and making it literal in the story I'm telling. Dealing with collecting and carrying items would manifest itself this way outside of the gaming world, so I drew her with an enormous bag of crap. :)
