UPDATE: I am now selling the remaining Preview Edition copies of "Starship Kansas" #1 at my online store! [link]

I only have 17 copies left, so act fast if you want one!

****

Some of you may have heard me discuss a project called "Starship Kansas" on my website and webcast. It is something I've been working on for some time on and off between paying gigs and I'm happy to say that it's finally up on its feet. The series was created and written by Josh Howard (writer/artist of "Dead@17", published by Image Comics) and I'm happy to report that Josh will be selling special preview copies at his booth this week at the San Diego Comic-Con. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend this year. But I hope to finally make it back to the big show next year.

Josh will actually be selling two different versions of the preview issue. One will feature a cover by me and one will feature a cover by Josh. I'll be receiving some copies after the con is done and I'll be selling signed versions on my online store.

This is my cover for issue #1.

Go here to see Josh's cover and to read some pages from the preview issue: [link]

Thanks!

-Otis

This supposed to be a Wizard of Oz thing? You got the girl, the dog, Kansas, and a scarecrow! All you need is a lion and a tin-man.

Please don't tell me she'll end up wearing ruby hiking boots, she's not a Bratz doll.

Cool! Just so happens I'm sharing a table with Josh at SDCC, so I will probably get a look at this book soon. I'm sure you guys will do well with it! Nice colors by the way. I like the way you did the starry sky.
