Those are distant trees, actually.

The main character will be all silent. Supporting characters will speak.

Ah, they look like the big afternoon cumulonimbus we get out on the front range in summer.

I really like that idea-I'm a big fan of silent movies and the way actors had to convey meaning without dialogue.
